Cochise County Civil Court Records

Cochise County civil court records are kept at two Superior Court locations in Bisbee and Sierra Vista. Amy J. Hunley serves as Clerk. Six Justice Courts serve different parts of the county. You can request records using the online form, by mail, or in person at either courthouse. Most civil court records in Cochise County are open to public inspection under Arizona public records law.

Clerk Offices in Cochise County

The main Clerk of Superior Court office is in Bisbee at 100 Quality Hill Road. Call 520-432-8600 for general info. The Research Office is at 520-432-8635 for records questions.

Request Cochise County Civil Records

Use the online form to order copies of court documents. Complete the form and submit it through the county website. Staff will contact you with fees and processing time for your request in Cochise County.

Cochise County Record Fees

Copy fees at the Bisbee location are ten cents per page if you pay with cash or check. This is lower than most Arizona counties. Online payments through Point and Pay add a convenience fee of 2.5 percent or two dollars minimum.

Certification costs thirty five dollars per document. Research fees may apply if you do not provide enough case information. Check the statewide PACCI portal first to find your case number and save research fees in Cochise County.

No charge applies for viewing records at the courthouse. You only pay for copies you want to take with you from Cochise County.

Cochise County Justice Courts

Six Justice Courts serve Cochise County. The Justice of the Peace page lists all six precincts. Courts are in Bisbee, Benson, Willcox, Sierra Vista, Douglas, and Bowie. Several are consolidated with Municipal Courts.

All Justice Courts handle civil cases up to ten thousand dollars. Small claims and eviction actions also go to Justice Court. File in the precinct where the defendant lives or where the rental property is located for evictions in Cochise County.

Justice Court records are kept at each precinct. Contact the specific court where your case was filed to request copies. Some Justice Court cases appear on the statewide PACCI portal for online search in Cochise County.

Use PACCI at apps.azcourts.gov to search Cochise County civil cases. This free portal shows case details and docket entries. No login is needed for basic case lookup.

The Arizona eAccess system covers Cochise County for document downloads. Each document costs ten dollars. You must register for an account to use eAccess for Cochise County court filings.

Not all documents are available online. Some older cases and certain filing types are not in the electronic system. Visit the courthouse or submit a records request for complete case files from Cochise County.
