Access Yavapai County Civil Records

Yavapai County civil court records can be found at three courthouse locations in Prescott, Camp Verde, and the Justice Center. The Clerk of Superior Court maintains civil case files for all cases filed in the county. Five Justice Courts handle smaller civil matters and evictions. You can request records by email to the Records Management office or visit any courthouse during business hours. Most civil court records in Yavapai County are public under Arizona law.

Yavapai County Clerk Office Locations

All three sites are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can file civil cases or access records at any location. Each courthouse serves different parts of Yavapai County.

Email record requests to YavapaiRecordsManagement@courts.az.gov. The Records Management office will reply with fees before you pay. Records from before 1992 should be requested through the Prescott Courthouse location in Yavapai County.

Get Copies of Yavapai Civil Court Records

Email is the best way to request records in Yavapai County. Send your request to YavapaiRecordsManagement@courts.az.gov with case details. Include the case number if you know it. Provide party names and approximate filing date if you do not have a case number. Staff will contact you with the cost before processing your order.

Justice Courts in Yavapai County

Five Justice Courts serve Yavapai County. Prescott Justice Court is the busiest. Verde Valley Justice Court covers Camp Verde and surrounding areas. Mayer, Bagdad-Yarnell, and Seligman Justice Courts serve rural parts of the county.

The Justice Courts website lists addresses and phone numbers for all five precincts. Each court handles civil cases up to ten thousand dollars, small claims, and eviction actions in its geographic area.

Justice Court records are kept at each precinct. You must contact the specific Justice Court where your case was filed to get copies. Some Justice Court records appear on the statewide PACCI portal for online search in Yavapai County.

Yavapai County Court Record Fees

Copies cost fifty cents per page in Yavapai County. Certified copies add thirty five dollars plus the per page fee. Postage is eight dollars for mail orders.

Payment options include cash, check, money order, and online payment through the Yavapai payment portal. The portal charges a small convenience fee for credit card transactions in Yavapai County.

Free viewing is allowed at all courthouse locations. You pay only for copies you want to take with you or have mailed from Yavapai County courts.
